Meet author Daniel Lewis, author of the 2025 California Book Awards' silver medal winner for nonfiction when he joins us via Zoom to discuss his book, Twleve Trees: The Deep Roots of Our Future. This is a warm but not overly scientific book for bioecologists and everyone who loves nature. We learn how 12 species of trees from all over the worle (including some from California) have evolved, survived and affected the lives of humans.
