Canceled: San Francisco Green Film Festival: It's Elemental

Filmmakers are showing us the fundamental necessity for climate discussion and action. Join the San Francisco Green Film Festival and Bay Area filmmakers for a conversation structured around the four elements—earth, water, fire and air—and how these elements are creating multifaceted changes and perspectives on serious and complicated climate issues. Change is not just necessary. It is elemental. And a plus: You can enjoy a preview of the 8th annual Green Film Festival, September 6-13, 2018, aligned with the Global Climate Action Summit and Rise for Climate march.

About the films:

Marcy Cravat's film Dirt Rich explores carbon drawdown as a viable and real solution for containing and eliminating the effects of escalating global warming and its damages. Kevin White's Wilder Than Wild covers the horrible fires, destruction and losses from the 2013 California forest rim fires to the San Francisco Bay Area's catastrophic and terrible fires that devastated the 2017 wine country homes and vineyards. Finally, Noel Dockstader and Quinn Kanaly document the courageous first solar-powered flight around the world in Point of No Return.
