Vicar of Baghdad

Canon Andrew White, Anglican Activist Vicar

In conversation with Gina Baleria, Literary Director, The Commonwealth Club

White, leader of St. George’s Church, the last Anglican Church in Iraq, has been described as the most distinguished Christian working in the Middle East. He works closely with the U.S. government and with Israel, the Palestinians and Iraq. Canon White, whose battle with multiple sclerosis has not deterred him from pursuing his activism, will discuss his work in Iraq, where he is also involved in the complex search for peace.
