For 19 years, the Ice Hotel in Kiruna, Sweden, has attracted adventuresome people from all over the world. Visitors can begin their fairy tale experience with a ride from the airport in a dog sled or reindeer sleigh. Every winter season the hotel and all its furniture, including chandeliers, decorations and drinking “glasses,” are newly sculpted of ice. Spanier, an artist and frequent visitor to the hotel, will re-create the experience for us.
