Join Climate One and the Goldman Environmental Prize for a special panel and networking reception!
Every year, the Goldman Environmental Prize is awarded to grassroots environmental heroes from around the world. Climate One is honored to partner with the Goldman Prize to host two of this year's winners the following day, in an intimate conversation at Commonwealth Club World Affairs, where you’ll have a chance to meet them in person. The names of the winners are not yet public, but we can assure you that every Goldman Prize winner we’ve featured in the past (Nalleli Cobo, Marjan Minnesma, Alfred Brownell, Diane Wilson, etc.) brings a deeply heroic story of protecting their community against powerful interests.
Join Climate One Co-host Kousha Navidar as we explore what compels a few ordinary people to take extraordinary actions to protect our planet—often at great personal risk.
This program has 2 types of tickets available: In-person and online-only. Please pre-register to receive a link to the live-stream event.
If you have symptoms of illness (coughing, fever, etc.), we ask that you either stay home or wear a mask. Our front desk has complimentary masks for members and guests who would like one.
Commonwealth Club World Affairs of California is a nonprofit public forum; we welcome donations made during registration to support the production of our programming.
