Wajahat Ali will open our eyes, minds and hearts to a story of growing up in America that most of us have neither heard nor experienced. He is a strong voice for democracy and against the rise of autocracy in this country. He knows from personal experience how difficult it can be to grow up as a minority—especially when you are cast into a trope of a group. He tells us how to communicate with others and understand their point of view,
and he explains how we can build a compassionate and inclusive America in an age of distrust.
How? Wajahat Ali knows from personal experience that when we come together to be the superheroes of our own stories, we can create honest social change.
About the Speaker

He also worked with the U.S. State Department to design and implement the “Generation Change” leadership program to empower young social entrepreneurs. He has initiated chapters in eight countries, including Pakistan and Singapore.
