About the Speakers
Gerren Wilson, PharmD., is a recognized leader in the biopharmaceutical industry, serving as Lifecycle Leader, Global Product Strategy at Roche, where he drives innovation at the intersection of science, technology and patient impact. With more than 17 years of experience at Roche and Genentech, Gerren is known for advancing clinical trial diversity, developing inclusive research alliances, and championing equitable health-care access while guiding major therapeutic portfolios.
Tashica Amirgholizadeh, Ph.D., is senior associate general counsel for intellectual property at Gilead Sciences, where she leads a team advising the business on intellectual property strategy across acquisitions, licensing, collaborations and strategic partnerships. In this role, she has also overseen patent litigation matters spanning multiple therapeutic areas. Prior to joining Gilead, Dr. Amirgholizadeh practiced in the Intellectual Property and Patent Litigation group at Sidley Austin LLP’s Los Angeles office from 2007 to 2013.
Sanna Gaspard, Ph.D., is a biomedical engineer, innovator, serial entrepreneur and CEO of Rubitection Inc., renowned for AI-driven medical device innovation in wound care, vascular health and dermatology. She invented the Rubitect Assessment System for early detection and monitoring of chronic skin conditions from wounds to melanoma, transforming chronic wound management while striving for global health accessibility. With additional experience leading TLneoCare LLC and developing infant physiotherapy tools, her passion bridges clinical health-care needs and technological solutions. Dr. Gaspard has received numerous awards, including the 2022 Richard King Mellon Foundation Social Impact Award, 2021 Culture Shift Labs Innovation Competition, 2019 AnitaB PitcHer Award, 2019 Vinetta Project Award, finalist for the Cartier Women’s Initiative Awards and the “New Face of Engineering” honor. She also completed board governance training at the USC Leavey Executive Center to enhance her leadership in corporate and nonprofit boardrooms.
Farron Rucker is the CTO of Syntex [data], an AI enablement company accelerating insights, reducing costs and driving innovation for the health-care and life sciences industries. A seasoned data engineer and technology leader with more than a decade of experience helping organizations accelerate digital transformation and prepare for an AI-driven future, Farron has delivered AI and data solutions across health care, life sciences, the Department of Defense, and large enterprise environments, bringing a rare blend of technical depth and cross-industry insight. Farron has supported more than 200 clients through modernization and AI adoption, enabling teams to move faster, smarter and more strategically. He is also a recipient of the Black Engineer of the Year Award.
