Commonwealth Club presents in collaboration with the Chicana Latina Foundation

The Carmen Castellano Philanthropy Celebration recognizes philanthropists and leaders who similarly pursue decolonization of community and equity through giving and kindness. These philanthropists are breaking the mold and supporting people of color in their own way, understanding that diverse organizations have and need a different approach, a philanthropist who understands the differences.

This year, we are recognizing Dr. Sandra Hernandez, president and CEO of the California Health Care Foundation; Gina Dalma, SVCF executive vice president of community action, policy and strategy; and In-Memoriam, Eleanor Palacios, community philanthropist.
