Live Jazz! Celebrate with the Great American Songbook

Come out and enjoy our holiday members appreciation evening—open to all—and experience a night of music, food and good company.

Celebrate the season with friends and family to share in the music of the great American songbook. Enjoy refreshments and a jazz concert featuring songs from the 1920s–1940s, the music that grew up with the greatest generation.

It was in 1944 that Bing Crosby made the Johnny Mercer tune "Accentuate The Positive" a hit in film and on radio. It later became known as one of the songs that got Americans through World War II. The popular songs of the day, most often written for Broadway, became an unofficial catalogue of music that comforted and connected Americans at home and abroad during hard times—the Spanish Influenza epidemic, the Second World War, Prohibition and the Great Depression.

Join us at the Club as we accentuate the positive for 2022 and look forward to the New Year. Everyone is invited for a reception with refreshments served against the backdrop of the festive evening lights along the Embarcadero and the Bay Bridge followed by a performance featuring the Konrad Paszkudzki Trio and special guests Gretje Angell and Adrian Cunningham.

This evening is presented in partnership with Jazz at the Ballroom and the generous support of Taube Philanthropies.

Additional support provided by Krakow Sister Cities.
