BlueSky: Building a Healthier California Through Youth Resilience

Due to changed schedules, this program has been postponed. Please check back for a new date.

Data shows that 1 in 5 students across the United States has a mental health need right now—but resources to address the problem are thin. Here in California, only one-third of the children who need help in this arena are getting it.

Enter Blue Shield of California and its BlueSky Initiative. Launched in the fall of last year, this multi-million dollar, 5-year pilot program is designed to support mental health for middle and high school students in California by providing additional clinicians in schools, training thousands of teachers on the signs of mental health issues, and empowering students with in-person and online mental health support resources.

Join us for a timely discussion of mental health and schools.
