The Other One Percent: Indians in America
Americans of Indian origin often epitomize how waves of immigrants have renewed and enriched the United States. This group now makes up about one percent of our population, and it is said that no immigrant group has been more successful. In The Other One Percent: Indians in America, Singh and his co-authors provide the first comprehensive, data-based study of the Indian immigrant experience, presenting valuable information for rethinking immigration policies. Singh will shed light on the Indian-Americans’ rapid rise as well as social and economic challenges for this multigenerational, diverse group.
