The Psychopath Test

We all have met these people, whether or not we have recognized them. Some of us have been taken in and damaged by them. The Psychopath Test reveals the manifestations and traits of the 4 percent of males and .5 percent of females who exhibit the personality disorder called psychopathy-sociopathy. Ronson delves into this condition with an engaging, wry British humor. He presents a number of specific cases describing individuals who are pathological liars, without conscience or guilt as ruthless, devious, conniving and without empathy. Yet, most often they present a charming, sweet and even charismatic demeanor to the people they encounter. After reading this concise book you may better recognize these dangerous people before they do you harm. As a reminder, the author will not be present.
