Educator, researcher and activist Faraj will discuss the history of the Kurdish people, who number more than 30 million and yet do not have their own country. Faraj received his masters degree in Laws in Kurdistan, Iraq, where he taught law. He has researched and led workshops on several subjects including human rights and has investigated violations such as honor killings.
