Having delivered rulings on such controversial cases as the NSA warrantless wiretapping, the Apple Computer, Inc. v. Microsoft Corporation copyright infringement case, and most recently the constitutional challenge of California’s Proposition 8, Judge Vaughn R. Walker is one of the most influential judges of our time. As the debates around the government's terrorist surveillance programs and Prop 8 continue after recent rulings of the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals upholding Judge Walker’s rulings, the former judge will discuss issues and challenges facing the legal profession and courts.
