The Baha'i Faith

Farhad Sabetan, Ph.D. in Economics; Human Rights Defender
Michael Pappas, Executive Director, SF Interfaith Council

Come learn about the history, tenets and values of the Baha'i faith, which upholds the unity of God and the oneness of the human race. The Faith was founded in 19th century Persia by the Prophet/Founder Baha'u'llah. It is the 2nd largest minority religion in Iran, but its adherents have been discriminated against in Iran and elsewhere. Its Holy Shrines and offices are in Israel. Sabetan is the spokesperson for the International Baha'i community in the United States.
