Middle East Peace in 10 Steps
Middle East Peace in 10 Steps
Emanuel Jolish, Ph.D., Psychology
Israeli-American psychologist Jolish was born in a German displacement camp in 1947 to Holocaust survivors who then immigrated to Israel in 1948. Jolish calls himself a “student of the Middle East” and has close ties to Israeli scholars, and from this insight he poses a new solution to a very, very old problem. If Israelis and Palestinians can give up their mutual senses of victimhood, abandon current facades of justice and focus on tactical solutions, says Jolish, they may be able to achieve enduring peace.
