Meet one of the real-life stars of Milk. Jones’ career as an activist began in the 1970s when he was befriended by Harvey Milk. He also worked for Leo McCarthy and Willie Brown. He co-founded the San Francisco AIDS Foundation, and he created the first panel of the NAMES Project, which today has more than 100,000 panels. Jones reflects on the decades he helped shape as we kick off Pride month.
