In recent months the U.S. Supreme Court cleared the way for same-sex marriages to resume in California and declared DOMA unconstitutional. Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg became the first Supreme Court Justice to officiate at a same-sex marriage. Even President George H.W. Bush attended a lesbian wedding in Maine. The sea-change in public opinion towards LGBT people and issues has been astonishing. Club members want to be in the know about these developments, and we need your help to produce LGBT-related programming. Please join our organizing meeting to help us with this important endeavor.
