Arthur Brooks, Pres., American Enterprise Institute: Making The Moral Case For Free Enterprise

Arthur Brooks: Making the Moral Case for Free Enterprise

This program is postponed. Check back later for a new date.

President, American Enterprise Institute; Professor Emeritus of Business and Government, Syracuse University; Author, The Road to Freedom: How to Win the Fight for Free Enterprise

The president of one of America’s most prestigious conservative think tanks argues that free enterprise and morality can and must go together. Fairness, opportunity and earned success, says Brooks, are at the heart of free enterprise, but have been dramatically weakened by policymakers trying to reorient American culture from rewarding merit to redistributing wealth. He demonstrates how to turn this trend around with a strong moral defense, and lays out the steps that he believes we must take as a country to find our footing once again.
