YOUTH ADVISORY COMMITTEE

In June of 2024, we officially launched our Youth Advisory Committee! Meeting regularly throughout the year, the 16-member committee discusses potential speakers, topics, and themes for upcoming Creating Citizens projects. Acting as community ambassadors for both Commonwealth Club World Affairs and Creating Citizens, our Youth Advisory Committee members share a passion for civics education and civil dialogue. This year’s committee is comprised of high school students from 13 different schools across Northern California.

We’re now searching for next year’s Youth Advisory Committee members! Applications will be accepted through May 18th, 2025. Read more about our eligibility requirements and apply here!
