Reading Californians Book Discussion: Interior Chinatown

Join us either in-person or via Zoom when author Charles Yu joins us virtually for a discussion of his 2021 silver medal Commonwealth Book Award novel Interior Chinatown.

The protagonist, Willis Wu, sees himself as "generic Asian man" in the screenplay of his life. The book explores how h e overcomes the feeling of less being the "model minority" and more of "the invisible minority. A fun, witty, intelligent look at assimilation.

Note: Yu will be participating via Zoom.
