Member-Led Forums

Member-led Forums (MLFs) are a volunteer-driven division of Commonwealth Club programming. These diverse and timely programs cover a wide range of topics on an ongoing basis throughout the year. They range from large events to intimate discussions with speakers, from art shows and restaurant visits to book discussion groups. MLFs are volunteer-run, organized by Club members who coordinate programs within specific areas of interest.

Cathy Curtis is the founder of Curtis Financial Planning, a firm that provides financial planning and investment management to women and their families. She had a prior long-term career in the food industry and now is a passionate cook, eater, farmer's market shopper and sustainable agriculture advocate. She sits on the board of CUESA, a nonprofit whose mission is to educate consumers about healthy food systems and manage the San Francisco Ferry Plaza Farmer's Market.
