Shores of Croatia and Montenegro

Aboard the Corinthinan II
Thu, August 28, 2014 - Fri, September 05, 2014

Of the many seaborne idylls possible in the Mediterranean, this has to be one of the loveliest. The area we will explore is distinguished by several features, including its striking beauty, the contrast of the remains left by many cultures, and the architectural and artistic excellence of the monuments. Our adventure begins in Venice, "La Serenissima," once mistress of the Adriatic, whose influence can still be seen. Tour the ancient city of Split built within the Palace of Diocletian. We'll stroll through the lavender-scented lanes of Hvar, which is quietly becoming the Mediterranean's newest Riviera. From Ploce we'll enjoy an excursion to multi-cultural Mostar.

Next it's Korcula Island, caressed by gentle breezes and graced with Venetian spires. Kotor, in Montenegro, reached through southern Europe's only fjord, will be our last port of call before arriving in beautiful Dubrovnik, Croatia where we'll explore the medieval splendors of Dubrovnik. This idyllic region is best explored by sea, and the all-suite, 100-guest Corinthian is the ideal vessel for this splendid itinerary.
