National Parks

The United States has a national parks system like no other country, drawing travelers from around the world awed by our monuments to natural beauty. Enjoy two nights in the heart of Yellowstone, the world's first national park, where we see bubbling colorful mud pots, mineral pools, and shooting geysers – not to mention the famed Old Faithful. The endless forests and thundering waterfalls are inspiring. Marvel at views of the glorious peaks of the Grand Tetons and relax in your comfortable cottage for two nights. During a scenic 10-mile float trip on the Snake River, spot moose, elk, and bird species, including the bald eagle.

Learn about Old West history in Cody, pioneer life at the Trail Museum in Idaho, and the ecology of the Great Salt Lake Basin in Salt Lake City. Journey to the Black Hills and visit the Crazy Horse Memorial and the masterful carvings our presidents at Mount Rushmore. For those that are interested, an opportunity to take part in a volunteer project with park experts in Grand Teton National Park is offered. Come celebrate what filmmaker Ken Burn's calls "America's Best Idea."
