In addition to providing the rich calendar of high-quality speakers that has been the hallmark of The Commonwealth Club for 100 years, the Commonwealth Club/Silicon Valley is actively engaged in developing events that address issues pertinent to the vibrant, evolving Silicon Valley community.
Commonwealth Club/Silicon Valley gets involved in the ongoing discussion in the region through valuable partnerships like the Citizen's Education Project with the San Jose Mercury News, which involves the publication of excerpts from a Club program in the paper each Sunday.
Commonwealth Club members who live in Silicon Valley receive the same wide-ranging benefits as other members, including the biweekly publication, The Commonwealth, which features a special section for Silicon Valley programs.
Our Silicon Valley staff is located in downtown San Jose. The Commonwealth Club/Silicon Valley is led by a group of distinguished South Bay citizens who have joined together to form The Commonwealth Club/Silicon Valley Advisory Council.
