For the past 107 years, the Commonwealth Club, the nation's premier public affairs forum, has been the protector and champion of one of America's most prized freedoms - full, unfettered debate of society's vital issues.
The Club operates on the principle that public examination of important issues is the enduring cornerstone of a free and democratic society. The Club's primary purpose is to inform its members, as well as the larger community, about matters that affect the course of history and the lives of countless people around the world. By attracting world leaders, policy makers and emissaries of the arts and sciences to its platform, the Club has increased communication and understanding, enabling greater numbers of people to participate in shaping the events around them.
But the challenges to the Club's mission are greater than ever! Your special support makes it possible for the Commonwealth Club to continue enriching public dialogue.
Your fully tax-deductible gift to the Club keeps the Club widely accessible, since membership dues alone cover just over half of annual expenses.

- Expand the Club's capacity to put issues on the public agenda by broadening its community outreach, educational initiatives and programming
