Medallion Speaker Series
The Commonwealth Club's centennial Medallion Speakers Series continues today. With your input, we have chosen leaders who have positively shaped our era, and will present them each with a Commonwealth Club Medallion. Each one of our awardees - drawn from the fields of culture, politics, business, media and science - will deliver a major address at The Club, tackling the question, What do you see as the most significant challenge confronting humanity in the 21st century, and what should be done about it? California Health Policy Speaker Series
The California Health Policy Speaker Series is a joint effort between the California HealthCare Foundation and The Commonwealth Club of California to bring nationally prominent speakers to California to discuss critical health policy issues. Past speakers have included FDA Commissioner Mark McClellan, CDC Director Julie Gerberding and New Yorker Staff Writer Atul Gawande.
