Space Based Defense

The idea of a space-based missile defense system will most likely emerge as the most controversial aspect of the debate in the coming months. Th current plan, which President Bush inherited from fomer President Clinton, is a ground-based system with Hit-to-kill interceptors launched from U.S. soil. This portion of the Missile Defense Forum will include links to related articles and documents to help bring the issues surrounding a space-based system into sharper focus.
