The Commonwealth Club, together with two major foundations, the John D. and Catherine T. MacArthur Foundation of Chicago and the Carnegie Corporation of New York, along with Stanford University, hosted an experts - conference on missile defense on November 19-20, 2000. On November 20, following the conference, we convened a panel of conference participants to bring the debate to our members and the general public.
