The work of Voices of Reform is being taken over by a new organization with significantly greater capacity to foster dialogue and the development of new policy related to the need for structural governance reform in California, called California Forward. Voices of Reform staff have helped build this new effort, along with staff from California Common Cause, the Center for Governmental Studies, and New California Network.

In addition to promoting broad, multi-partisan discussion and civic engagement around issues fundamental to the effective governance of the state, California Forward is positioned to pursue changes through political campaigns and other means. The ability to actively pursue reform is a major development and we are eager to build as many channels for meaningful public participation in this process as possible.
