Pepin says you do not need to be a master chef to produce amazing dishes in your kitchen. The important thing, he believes, is to understand and use the basics. This legendary culinary expert served as chef to three French heads of state and won France's highest honor, but he disdains food snobbery, preferring instead to share his innovative techniques to keep food simple, fresh and tasty.
