Come hear the firsthand story of the Canadian ambassador who, at enormous risk, housed six American embassy workers during the Iran hostage crisis of 1979. Portrayed by actor Victor Garber in the recent Oscar-winning film Argo, Taylor will share experiences from his storied career, which has included assignments ranging from Guatemala, Detroit, Pakistan, London to Ottawa, Tehran and New York. He resigned from the diplomatic service in 1984 to join Nabisco Brands / RJR Nabisco. He formulated and implemented polices to strengthen the $21 billion company's international presence.
