All major automakers are now selling models that are totally gas free (Nissan, Ford, Tesla) or run on electricity and gasoline (GM, Toyota). Charging stations are popping up around the state and customers are getting used to a whole new way of fueling their mobility. While these cars are often associated with environmental benefits, drivers say the zippy and quiet driving experience is a main reason to cut the fuel line. How bad is range anxiety? What’s the best part of owning a car with a plug? What’s your story of driving on electricity?
This program will feature owners of battery electric and plug-in hybrid cars discussing their life on the cutting edge of a new paradigm of personal mobility.
