Stephanie Pearson: A Day in the Life of an Archaeologist at Pompeii

A Day in the Life of an Archaeologist at Pompeii
Stephanie Pearson, M.A. in History of Art, Ph.D. candidate at UC Berkeley

This program is sold out

We all know that real archaeology does not even remotely resemble an Indiana Jones movie. Understanding the process by which we gain knowledge about the ancient Roman world is as important as understanding the remains themselves, because that process profoundly affects our interpretation of the ancient evidence. Pearson will draw on her experience in Pompeii to explain.
