Roz Savage rowed a small boat 8,000 miles across the Pacific Ocean, alone - a radical career change for a woman who used to work as a management consultant in a cubicle in London. David Kroodsma rode his bike from San Francisco to Tierra del Fuego, leading clean energy discussions in Spanish and English along the way. He then won a contest on the Huffington Post that earned him a trip to the UN climate conference in Copenhagen. Savage and Kroodsma both have authored books about their experiences and have linked with various organizations including 350.org, Google and the We Campaign. What drives them? What are they accomplishing? Join us for a conversation at the intersection of climate consciousness and gonzo eco-activism.
