Adventures of a Woman Who Rows Across the Oceans

Savage set out on April 19 to cross the Pacific Ocean from California to Australia in a 23-foot rowboat, the third leg of her greater quest. The first leg was dedicated to ocean pollution, while the second leg focused on climate change. At 42 years old, this office worker turned environmental activist has already successfully rowed across the Atlantic. She rows partly to challenge herself, but mostly to inspire people to take better care of the planet. Savage will talk about her experiences, as well as her ideas for making the Earth a better place.
