The Women of Israel: A Remarkable Diversity

Rosenthal will describe the ethnic, religious and cultural diversity of Israeli women – Christians, Jews, Muslims, Druze – who range from the radically modern to staunchly traditional. Some work in high tech, the government or the military, while others practice polygamous marriages, march in gay pride parades, or support the religious fervor of their husbands.
