Our topic this session is Alexandria, Egypt. We will discuss Justine, by Lawrence Durrell, the first book of his Alexandria Quartet. Set amid the corrupt glamour and intrigues of 1930s Alexandria, Durrell's novel gives a very vivid portrait of modern Alexandria. The discussion moderator will be Lynn Harris.
