Change and Transformation: Participating in the Emergence of New Worldviews
Marilyn Schlitz, President & CEO, Institute of Noetic Sciences
The Institute of Noetic Sciences studies consciousness transformation, seeking guideposts that help us navigate our individual and collective responses to change. They have explored world traditions, identifying both diverse and perennial themes that shape our experiences and promote health and healing. Schlitz will explain her work and tackle some questions: What is consciousness transformation? How can we open ourselves to greater meaning and purpose? Are there skills that have been developed by different traditions and cultures that shed light on our current complex lives? What does science tell us about how we can change our bodies and minds in ways that promote resilience, adaptability, and well-being? Can such skills be taught to our children?
