Singh explores themes from her award-winning documentary on the creation of Pakistan and the India-Pakistan relationship. “We have more than 5,000 years of civilization to either ignore or learn from,” says Singh, a descendent of one of India’s royal families who was born in Patiala, India ,and raised in the United States. With the South Asian region in the forefront of the media landscape, Singh’s timely film aims to encourage awareness and public dialogue.
