Twenty Years of 'Morning Edition'

Bob Edwards, host of NPR's "Morning Edition" news program since its inception in 1979, discusses the first two decades of the show.

Edwards hosted "Morning Edition" until 2004; he later hosted "The Bob Edwards Show" on Sirius XM Radio and "Bob Edwards Weekend" on 150 public radio stations. Those programs ended in 2015.
