Commonwealth Club Business Council
For a century now, the Commonwealth Club has provided an impartial platform for local, national and international business leaders to discuss the pertinent issues of the day.
Many distinguished policy makers have spoken at the Club. Jesse Jackson, Richard Gephardt, Carly Fiorina, Steve Forbes, former Secretary of State Madeleine Albright, Secretary of Homeland Security Tom Ridge, Naturalist Jane Goodall and former Secretary of Treasury Robert Rubin - these are just a few examples of the caliber of speaker we attract.
The Club has hosted virtually all of the leaders of the technology revolution, including the founders and CEOs of Cisco Systems, Oracle, Microsoft, Amazon.com, Google, Intel, Lucent Technologies, Sun Microsystems, Yahoo and Apple.
Throughout its long history, the Club has had special relevance to the business community. We have established our Business Council to provide our corporate supporters an opportunity to network with other business leaders and colleagues from diverse backgrounds around the Bay Area.
Benefits of Membership
Executive/VIP Membership Status: Your designated executive members will receive invitations to small, private receptions with some of our most important speakers. These occasions give you the opportunity not only to network with other business colleagues, but also to get firsthand and timely responses to your concerns from today's opinion and policy leaders. These events are held throughout the Bay Area - in San Francisco, the Silicon Valley, the East Bay and the North Bay - with special emphasis on the interests of those regions.
Company Recognition: Business Council Membership offers your company significant marketing and public relations opportunities, which include: acknowledgement in our magazine, The Commonwealth, which is distributed to over 17,000 members across the nation; acknowledgement during our weekly radio programs, which have an audience of half a million people listening on more than 200 commercial and public radio stations across the country; recognition on The Club's web site, which receives over 20,000 unique visitors monthly; opportunities for logo recognition on archived speaker pages and acknowledgement in print advertising.
Special Event Benefits and Hospitality: Your company will receive complimentary invitations to the Commonwealth Club's exclusive networking events, opportunities to host programs and opportunities to meet and greet influential guest speakers.
