Club Introduction
Our guest today completed his undergraduate work at Yale University and finished his medical studies at the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Columbia University. He completed residencies in both pediatrics and psychiatry. Our speaker has written several books on human relationships, especially that of parent and child. During the 1960s, he became active in the disarmament movement. And in 1963, was chosen co-chairman of the National Committee for a Sane Nuclear Policy. Our guest served as co-chairman of the National Conference for New Politics in 1967. Last year, he was nominated and accepted the nomination of a People's Party for Presidency of the United States. Speaking on A Radical, Political Alternative for 1972, our speaker today is Dr. Benjamin Spock.
