Steve Westly came to The Club in February to make the case for bond issues to save California from the brink of financial disaster. The bonds passed, but the deeper fiscal issues that made them necessary haven't. Former State Assemblyman Bill Bagley moderated the Q&A, and he brought to the discussion his perspective on California politics – which spans decades.
