RAY BRADBURY, Author, Fahrenheit 451 and Let’s All Kill Constance
In conversation via telephone with
SAM WELLER, Authorized Biographer for Ray Bradbury
and
COLLEEN B. WILCOX, Santa Clara County Superintendent of Schools
Chicago-based writer Sam Weller landed the assignment many writers would give their eye-teeth for when he was given the opportunity to write Ray Bradbury's authorized biography. And for 2004, Silicon Valley Reads selected as the book to be read by the community Fahrenheit 451, originally published in 1953. At Le Petit Trianon in San Jose, The Commonwealth Club Silicon Valley hosted Weller and Colleen Wilcox in conversation with Ray Bradbury, who spoke by phone from Los Angeles.
