Lowell Bergman
Producer/Correspondent, PBS's "Frontline" & The New York Times; Former Staff Producer, "60 Minutes"

In addition to serving as the inspiration for Al Pacino's character in The Insider, Bergman has produced "Frontline" documentaries on Saudi Arabia, Saddam Hussein and Osama bin Laden, prior to September 11. During a speech to The Commonwealth Club on January 9, he offered his perspective on the media's coverage of the war on terrorism. The question & answer session was moderated by Connie Shapiro, President of The Commonwealth Club.
